Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account data: When you sign up with email, Google, or GitHub, we store your email, display name, and profile image (if provided) to power your account.

Content you create: Notes, chats, flashcards, quizzes, PDFs, and other outputs generated in KaamSet are stored so you can return to them. You own your content.

Usage & analytics: We record aggregated events (tools used, AI generations, streaks) to power your dashboard, enforce fair-use limits, and improve the product. We do not sell this data.

Device data: Standard server logs (IP, browser, referrer) are used for security, rate limiting, and debugging.

2. How we use your data

• To provide, personalize, and improve KaamSet features.
• To enforce daily AI limits and prevent abuse.
• To send account, security, and (optional) product update emails.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing

When you use AI features, prompts and attached content are sent to our AI providers (currently Groq and the Lovable AI Gateway) purely to generate a response. We do not use your content to train third-party models. AI providers may temporarily process content under their own privacy terms.

4. Sharing

We share data only with: (a) infrastructure providers required to run the service, (b) authorities when compelled by law, and (c) other users when you explicitly publish something to the Public Library.

5. Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from the Settings page, or by emailing privacy@kaamset.app. We honor GDPR and CCPA requests.

6. Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

7. Children

KaamSet is not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
